Amber is fossilized tree resin, often from pine trees, that has undergone changes over millions of years. However, the amber scent we know from perfumery, while it can carry hints of pine, is much more complex, blending sweet, earthy, and even spicy notes to create a rich, multifaceted fragrance.

Amber is a blend of ingredients that describes a warm, powdery, sweet scent. It consists of a soiree of ingredients (natural and synthetic) such as vanilla, patchouli, labdanum, styrax, benzoin and a few more. It is used to create oriental fragrances that convey a rich, spicy and powdery feel.
